FIFA World Cup 2018 Russian Visa Information


In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, entry (exit) of foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in Russia as spectators for sports events within the framework of the FIFA 2018 World Cup (will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018 in the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Ekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saransk, Volgograd), is carried out without issued Russian visas.

However, to be admitted to Russia foreign citizens/stateless persons must have a valid identity document (“tourist” passport) and a “Personalized card of the spectator” (also known as a “Fan ID”).

What is Fan ID

A Fan ID is an obligatory document for the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches attendance which is necessary for the spectators to enter the stadiums.

A Fan ID is a small laminated form with personal information.

A Fan ID should be issued in advance.

A Fan ID can be obtained only by the tickets holders or individuals who have the right to purchase tickets for the 2018 FIFA World Cup

A Fan ID is issued once for all the 2018 FIFA World Cup

Matches.

The Fan ID holders can arrive at the territory of the Russian Federation without the Russian visa during the period starting 10days before the first match, during the 2018 FIFA World Cup events and they can leave the territory of the Russian Federation during 2018 FIFA World Cup events as well and during the period ending 10 days after the last match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

A Fan ID and a ticket allow using free the public transport of the 2018 FIFA World Cup host cities and the special trains between the host cities on matches days.
