UZBEKISTAN

STORY GOES HERE

  • Uzbekistan geographically is landlocked but rich in history with the Aral Sea in the southern shoreline.  It has borders with Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. The country gained independence in 1991, following the break-up of the Soviet Union.

In fact, Uzbekistan is wealthy in natural resources and measured 1450 km from West to East and 930 km from North to South. The climate in Uzbekistan is mostly hot and long in summer and mild in winter. The country today is a democracy; however, since 1991 it has been ruled by President Islam Karimov.
